Looking for staff & volunteers for our oregon sanctuary

Do you have experience and a love for working with horses?

Due to the glorious ever-expanding nature of Skydog Ranch and Sanctuary, we are currently looking for more helping hands and would love to find any dedicated long-term Equine Staff to help take care of our mustangs. At our Bend, Oregon Sanctuary, equine staff will spend their time helping to care for the rescued horses and donkeys, as well as assisting with any and all ranch chores; all of which help the horses and equine staff.

We are looking for full and part time staff and work begins at 7am to 3.30 with lunch break. We are located an hour outside Bend or Prineville and 90 minutes from Redmond. We also have accommodation on site for the right applicant. More than anything we need consistent, reliable, hard working, horse loving people to help us care for more horses and donkeys. Aside from Equine Staff positions, we also offer a slew of volunteer opportunities. Duties would also include: mucking, feeding horses, cleaning and general all-around chores on the Ranch, including stacking trees, picking up wire, and pulling weeds. We are always in search of people willing to muck in with any tasks needed to keep the ranch running, horses and donkeys happy and help the equine staff in any way as needed. We adore our volunteers immensely and are always appreciative of any work they can do, especially helping the girls muck and feed every morning 7:30am to 10am.
